Make Money with Article Marketing

GETTING STARTED

STEP #1: Sign up with Clickbank. Clickbank is a website that brings together affiliates (which is you) to many different vendors (people that are selling products and offering a commission to people that help sell their products).

STEP #2: Create a FREE blog. I recommend using Blogger. The blog you create will act as your website. Make sure you pick a good template because this is the place where you will make money.

STEP #3: Add content to your blog. Pick a product from Clickbank that you wish to promote (this can be anything, as long as you think people will want to have it) and write a sales letter for it using the HOP link provided to you from Clickbank.

Now you have the basic steps completed. Make sure that it looks good to the eye, and that people will actually be intrigued and purchase the product. Once finished that, it is time to start the harder steps! Yes, you need to get traffic to your blog. If no one comes to your blog, you can't make money.

GETTING TRAFFIC

STEP #1: Search Engines. Search engines will be a very important part of your e-business, as most of your traffic will come from them. So this step will be just to submit your blog to the top 3 search engines. The top 3 search engines are: Google, Yahoo, and MSN/BING.

STEP #2: Writing Articles. Articles are a great way to promote your blog and your clickbank products. Not only do they get indexed into search engines they can act as a backlink. All you have to do is add your blog url into the "About Me" or "Author Biography" section of your article and watch the page views come in for years to come. I usually just use the top 3 article directories to submit my articles to. The top 3 article directories are: EzineArticles, GoArticles, and Associated Content (AC pays you a small amount of money for the amount of page views you receive).

STEP #3: Social Bookmarking and Forum Marketing. This method can get you a limited amount of page views (normally). I mostly just use this step to gain backlinks to my blog (and my articles) to increase my page rank on google. Some examples of social bookmarking sites to submit to are: delicious, furl, digg, technorati, and reddit. There are so many more you can submit to, I recommend submitting to as many as you can handle. Some great forum sites to submit to are: DigitalPoint, Warriorforum, and SitePoint.
