Retired Haryana IG accused of molesting Haryana lawyer

The list of top officials booked for molestation is increasing day by day. In the latest case M S Ahalwat, a retired IG of Haryana police is being accused by Arvind Kaur, a lawyer, of molesting her about eight years ago.
TOP COPS and generals are now finding themselves in a company of SPS Rathore for alleged molestation. In a first of its kind case, top army official Lieutenant General AK Nanda was accused by the wife of a colonel working under him of sexual misconduct. The enquiry against Nanda is continuing although he is still working. In the latest case, MS Ahlawat retired IG of Haryana police is being accused by Arvind Kaur, a lawyer, of molesting her about eight years ago.
Ahlawat was accused of molesting Kaur in 2002 in Yamunanagar, when he was the superintendent of police of the district. The victim came in contact with Ahlawat when she had gone to meet him in regard with a dowry harassment case against her husband. The police didn’t take any action on the complaint filed by her for eight years. It was only after she sat on a protest outside the offices of Haryana chief minister and DGP that an inquiry was ordered.

Now, the police have initiated action against the former IG who retired a few months ago.
